have always been fascinated with content-based art because of the limitless variety of interpretations that are possible.
The works I am interested in making ultimately reflect my impressions of the world and are often rendered as somewhat skewed versions of reality to demonstrate conceptually reality's pliability. Reflections on the human condition, redemption, and transcendence are central themes in my work as they mirror the oscillation between the ordinary and the profound circumstances that are part of life's attributes. In drawing, painting, and most media I use, I try to illustrate the phenomena of spiritual experience as it arises with a physical process of understanding. For me, this situation imparts how an individual, heroic or not, must publicly or privately negotiate his inner conflict to arrive into the precision of oneness from a trajectory that are all semblances of scattered and separated. "One must find the will and strength to do X in spite of the irrefutable evidence that X cannot be."
